Coronavirus Update 19-Mar-2020
- WALKS (May change as Government advice / restrictions are put in place)
- TUESDAY
- All Tuesday walks are cancelled until further notice
- SATURDAY SHORT WALKS
- Enough Members have responded for these to continue. Mike Bussey will issue an amended list of walks. Check the website prior to walking. Keep 2 metres apart from anyone.
- SATURDAY LONG WALKS
- To be decided. Check the website before setting off
- TUESDAY
- JOHN DICKENSON FUNERAL
- 26 March, Family only. No reception afterwards
- BRIGHOUSE SPORTS CLUB AGM, 25 MARCH
- The AGM is postponed until a later date
- FINANCE
- The BSC have agreed that we do not to pay room hire charges during the crisis
- The Trainers have accepted that we pay them a retainer to help them through the crisis and to ensure they will be available when classes return.
- The Annual Membership Fee is due by the end of June. We will delay if the isolation period is extended beyond June. If not members can pay by bank transfer, PayPal and cheque. We will give you more details when the situation is clearer.
- We have cancelled the Himalayan Garden Trip and Star Coaches have not asked for a cancellation fee.
- All members who paid a deposit or in full have been refunded in full. Cheques have been posted on 18 March for those who have not been to classes.

- We will continue the Lottery Game during the closure.

- Any winnings during the closure will be used to pay for entries or paid by cheque or held over until classes start.
